Next we shall venture
into using the "water column corrected"
to perform a bottom typing exercise
 
 
Much of this is a recent development,
thanks toFUGRO-NPA's involvement in 2009,
and much in this website does not reflect these achievements
  • Working with shapefiles using shp2text was introduced early in 2010
  • The AutoCalibrator was introduced early in 2011 while processing the Caicos Bank time series og ETM images that FUGRO-NPA kindly provided us
  • Then , upon updating this tutorial , the clues to a number of long time mysteries unveiled themselves
  • That entailed hard work until 4SM was tuned accordingly : this is still an ongoing process!
It appears that we have achieved
our long term goal of self-calibration
with no need for field data

The next challenge is :

Customize the deglinting

  • Make a mask_19.shp to include the areas that deserve deglinting : haze and clouds   (light blue below)
  • Recode those areas : -Recode/2_InChannel_5_into_19_OutChannel_5/mask_19 
  • Customize the          -deglint/vRbaD/mDEGLINT19/GlintM25.0
 
Copy the triple script below in tmnov.sh
remove the red comments
run tmnov.sh
and watch the show
