suitable to estimate deep water reflectance

cloud shadows might be used as well for that purpose

Glint regressions, based on SWIR band 7,
clouds are excluded
  • Overcast skies allways yield strong R2
  • Gentle glint on swell
  • Conditions are excellent for deglinting,
    • based on SWIR band 
    • over the range 4-25
  • Deglinting would also remove atmospheric adjacency effect, if any
