• 4SM runs the following command : "dpkg --get-selections > /home/ymorel/Software/Linux_software/dpkg/selections.txt ; gedit /home/ymorel/Software/Linux_software/dpkg/selections.txt"
  

• Then creates a textfile /home/ymorel/Software/Linux_software/dpkg/selections.txt
  • to save a list of all installed packages
    
• To re-install this list of pakages after upgrading, run
  
  • "dpkg --set-selections < /home/ymorel/Software/Linux_software/dpkg/selections.txt && sudo apt-get dselect-upgrade"
