The PlotZ23 option


By using the PlotZ23 option in the -ProfileAB... argument

  • First, I use the depth computed along the six  polylines of black_profile.shp

    • for  the current image for all pixels with WZ=3, i.e. with bottom detection in the blue, green and red bands
    • as a seatruth dataset: six profiles, .... pixels altogether
  • Then I use this dataset as aa seatruth dataset with which to help fine tune the calibration of the current image
    • this is how an estimate for RLBbg=1.27 is obtained

    • as a seatruth dataset: six profiles, 11494 pixels altogether
  • Then I use this dataset as aa seatruth dataset with which to help fine tune the calibration of image ETM_009_045_2007-05-05

  • This in particular helps to estimate the height of the tide relative to the "seatruth" image.
